Sicily Taormina

In the summer we like to escape in the south of Europe. You can reach many various destination in a blink. We decide to head to Taormina. The place is amazingly stock in time, however we have been very surprise to see new 5 stars Luxe hotels and restaurants. The Orient express rebrand Belmont had recently made two acquisitions, one in Taormina Mare Villa Sant'Andrea and one in Taormina near the Grec theater Grand Hotel Timeo. Both place are stunning, The Grand Hotel Timeo has the perfect terrace overviewing the med, for a before dinner drinks Aperol Splitz or Bellini.
Villa Sant'Andrea is the perfect place for lunch and dinner by the sea .
Also a new place in town Hotel Metropole Maison d'Hotes, this is the one we select for our stay. Excellent position right in the center of town, relatively small, stunning view. The rooms are a bit small even if you book a junior suite, but then the inside size is compensated by a large terrace with a private jacuzzi overviewing the sea. Every evening there is a excellent Jazz bang starting at 8:30 pm. The place to have an after diner Rossini.

What to bright back : you will find in a couple of boutique hand made beach bag made in Sicily call Coffa , they are all original and very very Sicilian looking. Price from 80 to 250 euros.
