London restaurants new opening
London is for me the European capital of Gastronomy. 2012 has seen a lot of new opening. Restaurants specialized in south american cuisine and French Brasserie seams to be the main trend with also a the one specialized in Burger (which I did not visited)
Here the ones I test
Coya : Arjun Waney (co founded of Roka and Zuma) probably launch the best Peruvian restaurant in London. What to say? I love the place, the cuisine is fantastic the interiors design amazing. Will love to go back even to joint the members club.
La Bodega Negra : Mexican cuisine is back in fashion but with a more sophisticate twist. Nested in Soho behind a sex shop. You will discover a mexican grotto which personally make me travel in a Zorro movie setting.
The cuisine was excellent
Brasserie Delaunay: The Wolseley restaurateur create here a French Parisienne Brasserie in a Belle Epoque style with a better service than you can find in France.
Colbert : other new venue from Corbin&King, the Colbert is a typical French Bistrot that you cannot find in France anymore.......
It is very well done and look like it has been here for ever.
Quo vadis: well known British chef Jeremy Lee as joint The Hart's brothers restaurant and bring with him a new very modern English cuisine.
